Hotel Da Vinci Wenceslas Square
Perched on an acutely angled junction between Sokolska and Na Bojisti, the Hotel Da Vinci is strikingly unmissible on the very short stroll from the metro station I.P. Pavlova. Reminiscent of New York's Flatiron building, the Da Vinci captures the imagination of the passerby with its beautifully chiseled exterior.
The summit of Wenceslas Square is a breezy 500 metre stroll away meaning the whole of central Prague can be easily conquered on foot from your base at the Hotel Da Vinci. Sokolska Street is a busy road stretching east out of the city and as such there is little other than hotels lining this street. Head left out of the hotel towards the metro station to discover your nearest amenities and restaurants, which are no further than 100 metres away.
Surrounding the metro station are banks, restaurants and grocery stores are in abundance in the network of roads surrounding this junction. Turn right up Jecna Street to reach the glorious Vinohrady residential district with its many restaurants, or head left down hill to discover Karlovo Namesti and all its shops, and the river Vltava just beyond it. Metro station I.P. Pavlova sits on the red 'C'underground line easing your journey to and from the airport. I.P. Pavlova doubles as a tram stop, in particular the number 22 trundles into the centre of town and off up the hill to Prague Castle every few minutes.
